Trekking Programs

Bhutan offers range of treks from easy to mild to strenuous. Trekkers are the fortunate people since they have the opportunity to view the splendid scenic beauty of lofty chain of mountains covered with snow, lush valleys covered by thick forests untouched by modernization. The chirping of birds, the murmuring sound of swift flowing rivers & streams and fragrance of varieties of bloomed flowers with humming sound of bees gives the trekkers a true sense of natural touch, the charm of which is overshadowed by rapid global modernization in the rest of the world.

Experience Bhutan Travel offers number of treks; having its own beauty and charm. Nevertheless most of our designated treks go above 3000mteters so we recommend you to select appropriate trek route to avoid altitude sickness. Our suggestion is to acclimatize well before you start a trek. We strongly recommend you to get acclimatized yourself before you actually start on a trek. Once we receive your booking with any one of the trekking program given, we will forward you with itinerary in which cultural program is included that would allow you to get acclimatize yourself.

A trained guide, a cook and his assistant and supporting staff and horsemen (porters) accompany all trekking parties. The supporting crew walks ahead of the trekking party each day and welcome you with hot cup of tea & snacks at the campsite. All meals are carefully planned. Breakfast is always hot and dinner includes a choice of at least four dishes. Experience Bhutan Travel guide will take every precaution to ensure safety & comfort of each trekker. Ponies will carry your baggage and all eatables. The upper limit of the weight of your baggage is 25kgs. You are advised to bring duffel bags for safety of your baggage. All your valuables will be kept at hotel safe.

You need to bring your own sleeping bag and Thumb A Rest. If you have no room to bring along, we can arrange with minimum higher charges.

The trekking in such pristine Himalayan realm is rare and will leave an ever-lasting impression to every visitor that defies description.
