HIGHLIGHTS : Diverse flora and fauna. Paradise for the Orchid lover. At Tingtibi many species of birds can be found in abundance. The rare Golden Langur, Tigers, Rhinoceros & many other animals can be found at the sanctuary itself. This trek is relatively a moderate one.
Itinerary:
- Days 01: Arrival Paro Bhutan. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Paro.
- Days 02: Paro valley sightseeing. Overnight Paro.
- Days 03: Excursion to Taktsang Monastery. Overnight Paro.
- Days 04: Morning drive to Thimpu. Check in at hotel. Afternoon Cultural show. Overnight Thimpu.
- Days 05: Drive to Tongsa. Sightseeing en route. Overnight at hotel, Tongsa.
- Days 06: Drive to Shemgang. Sightseeing en route. Overnight at lodge, Shemgang.
- Days 07: Drive to Tingtibi. Tingtibi halt for bird watching.
- Days 08: Tingtibi to Gonphu- Trek begins.
- Days 09: Gonphu to Panthang.
- Days 10: Panthang to Pangbang.
- Days 11: Pangbang to Manas - Trek ends.
- Days 12: Manas halt at the Wild Life Sanctuary
- Days 13: Manas halt
- Days 14: Manas to Siliguri (India)
- Days 15: Siliguri to Bagdogra Airport for departure.
