The trek across the Cho La Pass is the ultimate challenge which takes 18-21days and covers both of the Gokyo Lake area and the Everest Baaase Camp. There are some short and interesting "climbs" of Gokyo Ri, Chukkung Ri and Kalapatthar for the classic views of icefalls of the Everest & glaciers of Mahalangur Himalayan range which comprises of five major 8000+ m. peaks - Everest, Cho OYu, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar and Makalu.
