Everest Region :: Jiri To Everest Trek  

A longer and more varied trek to the Everest Base Camp or Mt. Everest Expedition route used to starts from Jiri. Everest Base Camp Trek passes through spectacular villages with exotic monastries in Jumberi(2675m) and Khartung that offers the first views of Everest and host of other peaks like Thamserku(6608m), Kantega(6779m) Kusum Kangru(6367m) and Mera Peak(6654m). This is a region less frequented and crowded by other trekkers. The trek emerges high up in the Khumbu valley and follows the trail to Everest Base Camp & Trek ends at Lukla & flight back to Kathmandu as a longer & strange trip with fulfilling real taste of the trek.
