Annapurna Region :: Jomsom-Muktinath Trek
Central Nepal abounds with several fantastic trails to explore the deepest gorge in the world lies on the Kaligandaki River in Nepal with the hospitality & friendly behavior by Thakali people. The trek leads from Jomsom to Muktinath (3800 m) a major pilgrimage & holy place for Buddhists and Hindus as well as an opportunity to relish the great mountain views of Nilgiri & Dhaulagiri. This trek begins and ends from Pokhara .we can choose to fly straight through Jomsom (2713 m) or walk to Muktinath and then down or you can start your journey from Pokhara, then flying back. This trek gives us a great & memorable trekking experience while you follow the major trading route linking with road-less high mountains with the commercial centers of the valley where you will share the trail with burros and pony caravans on their way to and from the lower Mustang region. Naturally also full of beauty is spreading all over in this area seems as the piece of hearts & feels the one side of heaven

Day 1- Pickup form Airport, drop to hotel.

Day 2- Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus (7hrs).

Day 3- From Pokhara drive to Nayapul. Start trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m).

Day 4- Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2874m).

Day 5- Ghorepani to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3210m). Trek to Tatopani (1190m).
- Day 6- Relax in the hot spring of Tatopani before short treks to Dana (1400m).
- Day 7- Dana to Kalapani (2530m).
- Day 8- Kalapani to Marpha (2670m).
- Day 9- Marpha to Kagbeni (2800m).
- Day 10- Kagbeni to Muktinath (3800m).
- Day 11- Visit the sacred Monastery of Muktinath. Trek to Jomsom (2710m).
- Day 12- Rest day / Sights of Jomsom. End of trekking.
- Day 13- Fly out of Jomsom back to Pokhara (25min flight).
- Day 14- Boat rowing on Lake Fewa. Sightseeing in Pokhara
- Day 15- Pokhara back to Kathmandu.
- Day 16- Cultural Sightseeing in Kathmandu. Airport drop-off (if required).
