The Gokyo five  Lakes Trekking is the second most popular trekking area of Everest region. It would probably be the most popular destination in south Asia, to get in Everest area, you must either walk for a week or fly to Lukla, a remotes mountain airstrip where flights are notoriously unreliable. Solukhumbu justifiably famous, not only for its proximity to the world‘s highest mountain (8848m/29021ft) and it is known Sherpa villages with buddies monasteries as far as their private culture. The nominal goal of an Everest trek is the Everest Base Camp at an elevation of about 5340m/17512ft from the base camp cannot see Everest top, So the most trekkers groups hike to Kalapatthar, wherefrom achieve a dramatic view of Mt.Everest, Pumbari is accessible. Detail Itineraries

  • Day 01Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840 M/9,350ft), 25 minutes and trek to Phakding (2,610 M/8,562ft), 3-4 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),All treks to Everest begin from Luka where we will be flying to early in the morning, right after breakfast. The flight will be an interesting one since we will be flying amidst the grand Himalayas in a Twin Otter airplane. We begin our short trek to Phakding immediately after landing. At one hour’s gradual descent, we will be at a Cheplung village from where we have a glimpse of Mt. Khumbila (18900ft), a sacred mountain that has never been climbed. From Cheplung, we continue descending to Phakding and spend the night.
  • Day 02 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 M/11,286ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),We begin our trek on uphill and downhill trails with multiple crossings over the Dudh Koshi River and a magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (21,675ft) from the Benkar village. We cross more bridges and reach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, where our trekking permits are checked. We walk further and pass through Jorsale village before reaching Namche Bazaar. From here, we get beautiful views of the Himalayas including Everest, Lhotse, Tawache, and others. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
  • Day 03 Acclimatize, rest and exploring day around Namche (3,440 M/11,286ft), (Lodging + B-L-D),This is the first of the three scheduled rest days which will help us acclimatize to the high altitude. Since experts believe that it is better to stay active even during rest days for better trekking experience we are going to spend the day enjoying small hikes in and around Namche Bazaar. We hike up to Everest View Hotel to enjoy admirable views of the Himalayan vista. On our way back to Namche we also tour the Khumjung Monastery (houses a yeti scalp!) and Hillary School. Our guide can also take us to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an assortment of things related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and learn about the various plant and animal life in the Everest region. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
  • Day 04Trek from Namche to Dole (4038M/13,244ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),Leaving Namche Bazaar, we climb the Khumjung hill and then descend to the east of the village down the broad valley leading to the Dudh Koshi from where the route turns north. There are two trails and our guide will choose the best option for us to follow. There is a chorten on the ridge top at 3,973 meters which descends from Mt. Khumbila (5,761 m). Then we trek northwards and reach Mong (Mohang) which is known as the birthplace of the Saint Lama Sanga Dorje, the reincarnation lama of Rongbuk Monastery. This Monastery is believed to have introduced Buddhism in the Khumbu region of Nepal. The trail descends in a series of steep switchbacks down a sandy slope to the Dudh Koshi and enters at Phortse Thanga. Then the trail climbs steeply through rhododendron forests, passing many Kharka on its way to Tongba (3950m) and Gyele (3960m) and finally Dole (4200m).
  • Day 05Trek from Dole to Machherma (4,470 M/14,665ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),On the following day, we have to climb uphill in order to reach Machhermo. The trail climbs through a huge rock at Lhabarma (4330m) and carries on to Luza (4340m). From Luza the trail continues to climb to Machhermo (4470m) where we can have good views of the mountains. There is a Chorten right before the Luza village. Throughout today’s journey, we will be walking alongside the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight at Machhermo.
  • Day 06 Trek from Machherma to Gokyo lake (4,790 M/15,715ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),We commence our trek by climbing a ridge for a superb view of Kangtega down the valley and also up towards Cho Oyu (8153 m). The narrow valley now begins to widen as the trail passes through Phangkha (4390 m), where an avalanche in 1995 killed 40 people. We then descend to the riverbank before climbing onto the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier on a steep trail. Upon crossing an iron bridge over a stream, the trail levels out as it follows the valley past the first lake, known as Longpongo, at 4690 meters. At this juncture, we get a chance to observe lama footprints on a stone. At the sight of the second lake, Taboche Tsho, we become mesmerized by the shimmering turquoise blue sheet of water sparkling in the sun. Further walk from the second lake, we reach the third lake, the two linked by a surging stream. Gokyo village stands by the third lake and Cho-Oyu Mountain as a backdrop sets an amazing spectacular sight here. After lunch, we explore the third lake, Dudh Pokhari.
  • Day 07Trek from Gokyo-Ri (5357 M/17,575ft) and then back to Gokyo (4,790 M/15,715ft), afternoon explore the five lakes into the glacier 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),Wake up early in the morning to hike to Gokyo Ri 5350m for panoramic Himalayan views such as Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt Lhotse 8516m, Mt, Mt. Makalu 8463m, Mt.Cho Oyu 8201m, Mt. Kangchung 6063m, Mt. Amadablam 6856m, Mt. Thamserku 6723m, Mt. Kantega 6685m, Mt.Kusum Khagaru 6367m, Mt. Kongde 6011m, Mt.Twache peak 6367m, Mt. Cholaste 6335m, back to Gokyo, lunch at Gokyo lake 4-5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
  • Day 08Trek from Gokyo lake to Dole (4,140 M/13,582ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),Even from the trial scenery of Gokyo village on the edge of the third lake overlooked by broad Ngozumpa Glacier are mind-blowing. You will explore surrounded by panoramic mountains like Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, K 43, Kangtega, Taboche, Cholatse, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Changtse, and Pumori than trek down to Dole. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
  • Day 09 Trek from Dole to Khumjung (2,780 M/9,120ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),We descend on a steep trail to Phortse Thanga admiring rhododendrons, wildflowers and waterfalls. We also come across mountain goats, musk deer, pheasants, etc. From Mong, we can approve of a good view of the Khumbila peak. On our way to Namche, the view of Taboche, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kangtega mountains are ours to admire. After walking for a while, we reach an intersection where the trail from Sanasa meets our trail. We walk on a trail that clings to a forested slope beyond Kyangjuma,. Overnight in Khumjung.
  • Day 10Trek from Khumjung to Phakding (2,610 M/8,562ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),We descend on a rocky trail and cross several suspension bridges before walking on a leveled trail. The air is warmer as we walk on the same trail to reach Phakding. Our trek in the mountain ends after we reach Lukla. We spend our time reminiscing about our time spent on the mountain. Overnight in Lukla.
  • Day 11Trek from Phakding to Lukla (2,840 M/9,350ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D),Today we walk several Sherpa Village with the many mani walls till Lukla. Our trek in the mountain ends after we reach Lukla. We spend our time reminiscing about our time spent in the mountain. Overnight in Lukla.
  • Day 12Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,350 M/4,429ft), 25 minutes, (Lodging + B).We fly back to Kathmandu on the earliest possible flight. After reaching Kathmandu we have the rest of the day off to rest. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner to enjoy with our trek leader and a few Himalayan Glacier staff to mark the end of our trip to Nepal. Overnight in Kathmandu.
